At Norsteel, we stand behind every custom steel building we deliver. From engineered drawings to final delivery, our team is committed to craftsmanship, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Here is what you can expect when it comes to orders, cancellations, and returns:
Placing Your Order & Cancellations
Deposit & Payment Terms
Every project starts with a non-refundable deposit. This covers engineered drawings, resource allocation, and the early stages of project planning. Because each Norsteel building is custom-designed, this deposit ensures we can begin work promptly and precisely.
Cancelling an Order Before Fabrication
If you cancel before we begin fabrication, any payment made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be returned.
Cancelling an Order After Fabrication Begins
Once production is underway, your building is custom-engineered specifically for your project. At this stage, materials have been allocated and manufacturing has begun, so refunds are no longer possible.
Fabrication & Delivery
Timelines
Fabrication timelines vary based on building size, design complexity, and seasonal demand. While we aim to move quickly, please note that spring and summer are high-volume periods and may extend lead times.
Delivery
You will receive a confirmed delivery schedule in advance. Please ensure someone is available to accept the shipment on the scheduled date. Missed deliveries may result in re-delivery or storage fees.
Damaged or Defective Items
We perform strict quality checks. But should anything arrive damaged or defective, we are here to make it right. Please inspect your delivery upon arrival and report any issues within 14 days. To help us process your claim efficiently, include detailed written feedback along with supporting photos. Once the issue is confirmed, we will promptly replace the affected components.
Adjustments & Modifications
Post-Fabrication Modifications
Once fabrication has begun, your building components are already in production, based on your approved specifications. While some changes may still be possible, they often require additional materials, re-engineering, or adjustments to the production schedule. Any approved modifications at this stage may result in added costs, which will be clearly communicated before proceeding.
Project Delays
We are committed to meeting agreed-upon timelines. In the rare event that your project is delayed beyond the contracted timeline, we will review the situation with you and work toward a fair, reasonable solution to keep your project moving forward.
