Pour soutenir l’augmentation de sa production alimentaire, ce client a agrandi ses installations en d\u00e9veloppant de mani\u00e8re strat\u00e9gique une portion de son terrain jusqu’alors sous-utilis\u00e9e. Norsteel a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l’ing\u00e9nierie d’un b\u00e2timent d’acier hybride con\u00e7u pour relier deux structures existantes en brique conventionnelle<\/strong>, transformant l’empreinte au sol disponible en un espace de fabrication enti\u00e8rement op\u00e9rationnel.<\/p>

Le projet exigeait une configuration irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re sur mesure mesurant 128,5′ x 409′ et 167′ x 37,5′<\/strong>, adapt\u00e9e pour occuper l’espace restant du terrain tout en maintenant la continuit\u00e9 du flux de travail. Pour soutenir ses besoins croissants en mati\u00e8re d’entreposage, SeedMaster avait besoin d’un ajout en acier monopente de 20′ x 16′ x 12′<\/strong> int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 son installation existante de 58′ x 100′ x 34′. Bien que de plus petite envergure, le projet a exig\u00e9 la m\u00eame analyse structurale, la m\u00eame coordination et la m\u00eame pr\u00e9cision d’ing\u00e9nierie que celles appliqu\u00e9es aux agrandissements de toutes tailles.<\/p>

Compte tenu de l’importante diff\u00e9rence de hauteur entre les deux structures, la conception a tenu compte de l’accumulation de neige et des charges suppl\u00e9mentaires g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par le plus grand b\u00e2timent<\/strong>.<\/p>
